Early El Niño conditions can be great weather effects spell this year
Indications are growing that an El Niño can make weather pattern in the Pacific Ocean that could have a profound impact on global weather. El Niño events are generated by unusually warm ocean water in the Pacific Ocean, and this NASA satellite images are an indication of warmer water. The pictures show the sea surface height anomalies, with represented over mean sea surface height in various shades of Brown. A note on the warmer waters with rising temperatures are to expand over average sea surface height. These two images compare conditions 1997 - a year with one of the most powerful El Niño events of the 20th century - with conditions may of this year. If an El Niño pattern developing in this year, it could be to weather conditions in Western North America and South America, which could help a severe drought now stop pests in the US West. The El Niño of 1997/98 also created warmer and drier conditions in large parts of Asia. Other evidence, including data about a network of buoys in the Pacific Ocean shows from the East across the Pacific a large knowledge pool of warm water slide since January.
