style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;">A new concept for train travel can ride the rails from the dark ages to the space age take.
JR East Japan Railway has in collaboration with Ferrari Designer Ken Okuyama, unveiled plans for the so-called cruise train. Of the more than $50 million luxury liner costs and could debut in the spring of 2017.
The design could bring not only luxury and exclusivity to train travel. Instead of passengers in packaging, the train would carry only 34 passengers in the 10 cars. Two of them would be glassed observation cars so passengers to their destination in the countryside could take on the road. The concept was a "train to the change of time and space, enjoy" according to Okuyama's website.
