The Government was accused by their official advice on weather extremes to dilute significantly after removing the mention of the relationship between climate change and events such as bushfires and heat waves.
Removed both link a document via the Department of environment website to inform of the public on dangerous climate change weather has influenced an explicit reference.
An earlier version of the document opened with the statement: "there is a growing and robust body of evidence that climate change, the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events will increase.
"Australia has an increasing number and intensity of heat waves, forest fires, floods and droughts experienced in recent decades."
A change of page removes these rows for a general explanation of what is extreme weather.
The page goes to confirm that the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events is "change" and "Studies" highlights a link to climate change, but show next, that it "difficult, the role of climate change in each particular case to isolate".
As guardian of Australia reported in October, the previous version of the consulting Department objected to Tony Abbott's view, that no connection between the fires and climate change was "complete rubbish".
The Prime Minister speaks in the aftermath of the widespread new South Wales bushfires last year Christiana Figueres, who chief, was UN climate talks "talk" from her hat for link said increased bushfires as temperatures rise.
Amanda McKenzie, a former officer and now Managing Director of the air guardian Australia, the change said to "softer language" on the link between climate change and extreme weather events had led.
"Live and communities are at risk from forest fires so it is very important that communities and fire fighting are ready services for changes, which we already see", she said.
"It is a common misconception that Australia had always extreme weather so that we do not now should worry, but we see already more extreme weather. Bushfires in Southeast Australia has increased in the last 30 years, and we had just our hottest 12 months on record.
"The evidence is absolutely clear on the link. We know that bushfire conditions getting worse. We need the Government to its word that climate change seriously but inaccurate statements to extreme weather have taken place and it is important that the public is provided with the correct information on these topics."
Asked why the Council was changed, an environment department spokeswoman said: "in the last few months, we have been ready to make the transition from content from the former climate change website on environment.gov.au.
"Is constantly updated the Department for the environment website. The change identifying attempted by the Department to ensure that the Web site information was consistent with the approach of the IPCC in its fifth assessment report."
The IPCC assessment, released in March said there was one mean "high confidence" that extreme weather events "projects will increase in many places" in Australia.
Australia "increased damage to the ecosystems and settlements, economic losses and risks to human life by the most southern Australia wildfires", is at risk according to the report of the IPCC.
Moreover, "Projected increase in heat waves rising deaths and illnesses, especially among the elderly", coastal areas while erosion, landslides and flooding risk increases due to change in weather patterns and sea levels.
Kellie caught, climate change campaigner at the WWF, said: "it is clear the connection between global warming and extreme weather events. In fact, the assessment report reinforced the IPCC Fifth its assessment on the connection between some extreme weather events and global warming.
"It is important that will inform the Australian public about the science of global warming and climate change poses a risk for society, our economy and environment by leading experts such as the IPCC, especially in the face of global warming."
Leader of green, Christine Milne said: "filtration is denial-of-top-down by the public service, the clear link between climate change regardless of whether Tony Abbott is global warming and the increasing frequency and intensity of extreme weather events is undeniable.
"The connection is the international scientific consensus. No softening of the language or of the public service to silence the urgency of the strong and sustained measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions will change pollution."
